UKULELE MOVEMENT

UKULELE MOVEMENT hosted Ukulabu's third ukulele jamming session on 16 Jan 2009 and it turned out to be a resounding success! Attendance was fantastic, it was a diverse group, we had players from all walks of life and all age groups, absolute beginners who had never strummed a uke before to seasoned players with several years of experience under their calloused fingertips all coming together for a night of good'ol fun, sing-along and getting to meet new friends to exchange tips and songs. One girl even bought a uke from us and started learning there and then from the others and within no time she was singing and strumming along with the rest. It just goes to show that the uke is truly an easy instrument to pick up and learn by anyone with an interest.
