The next Uke GOT TALENT open mic will take you down memory lane to the decadent era of the 80s! Dig out those spandex neon tights, suspenders, leotards and headbands. Sew on those huge shoulder pads to your already oversized blazers, put on your snow-washed jeans and join us for a night of nothing but 80s music madness!
Remember Madonna, Wham!, Cyndi Lauper, Culture Club, Haircut 100, Belinda Carlisle, Debbie Gibson, Yazoo, Depeche Mode, OMD....Rick Astley...Bros?!! It was a decade of progression in music, new electronic sounds, new styles, wacky fashion, and a new identity! What an exciting decade it was and 20 years on, it's still hip! It never went away, many clubs still play those hits from the 80s. So we decided to put on a theme night for our open mic - I LOVE THE 80s! Never gonna give you up...never gonna let you down...
Please perform only songs from the 80s and come dressed up as your favourite pop star of the 80s. Those not performing, come dressed up as well just for fun.

We are starting the event at 7:30pm so come early and grab dinner/drinks and the best seats in the house!

A big thank you to 15 minutes for letting us host the event. Admission is free, good food and drinks are available at the cafe. Happy hour up to 9pm for house pours and selected beers.
