Model Sapele CustomConcert

Handcrafted by Mike DaSilva with specially designed initials on the headstock, this concert sized model is made from quilted Sapele and Sitka Spruce. Sapele is a member of the same family (Meliaceae) that includes Mahogany. Sharing the same warm, rich tones of Mahogany, premium Sapele displays a broad range of extraordinary figure that includes quilted Sapele which gives the wood a three-dimensional appearance. 

All models can be custom built to your specifications and are completely handcrafted by Mike DaSilva.

• Gaboon Ebony heelcap

• Custom mother-of-pearl inlay on headplate

• Honduras Mahogany neck, thin radius

• Macasser Ebony fretboard 

• Herringbone rosette

• Black ivoroid binding with black and white ivoroid purfling

• Rosewood bridge   

• Corian nut and saddle

• UV-cured, hand-rubbed polyester finish

• 18 nickel silver frets 

• Mother-of-pearl position marks at 3^rd, 5^th, 7^th , 10^th, 12^th and 15^th fret on neck and fingerboard

• Pegheads 4:1 built-in geared tuners

• Custom DaSilva strings

• Label is individually signed by Mike DaSilva and serial numbered

• Price includes a high quality molded fibreglass case
