Ngee Ann Poly Retreat
UKULELE MOVEMENT conducted a 1½hour ukulele workshop for the staff members of Ngee Ann Polytechnic at One°15 in Sentosa Cove this year.
During the workshop for 20 attendees, they were taught the basics of playing the ukulele, some basic music theory and techniques, and two songs (selected beforehand by the attendees) where they were required to perform in from of their entire faculty during the retreat.
Taught by Alan Soo, one of our ukulele instructors, the group managed to play the two songs as a medley to rousing cheers of support from their other faculty members. The workshop was a success and many even bought the loan sets that they used after the event.
