Kala Flame Maple
Maple has been a superior choice in the making of string instruments for many hundreds of years. There are many species growing in many regions of the world. Highly prized specimens include the 'curly', 'flamed', 'bird's eye' and 'quilted' varieties. The amazing spalt patterns in this wood are incredibly intricate. Maple wood has a bright tone and are noted for its projection. Paired with a solid Sitka Spruce top for a clear and bright sound, these limited edition ukuleles are absolutely gorgeous! Mahogany binding on the sides and back, synthetic bone nut and saddle, custom amber tuners, solid Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard and bridge are standard.
